The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.

You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.

The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.

If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics

Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).

Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.

Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.

You have two strong impulses which are somewhat at odds with one another but when blended can be highly creative and productive. On the one hand, there is the dreamer, the gambler, the idealist, the optimist who is full of hopeful confidence, spark, and creative energy. This is the side of you that believes in magic and extraordinary possibilities. Equally strong, however, is the conservative, practical, adult side which seeks security and stability, and which needs to be productive in a concrete way.

Having both of these urges can lead to some internal predicaments, such as: Should I take the safe, well traveled path which offers me security or one which is unpredictable but which offers more freedom and adventure? Is there a way for me to live my dreams rather than simply wish and hope and fantasize about them? Can I bring my dreams to fruition without compromising too much for the sake of the market place? Can I be an idealist who is effective in the everyday mundane world? How can I express myself freely as an individual, while also being responsible and taking care of practical obligations and necessities? Should I be generous, or careful and conservative? Should I play (and be more of a child) or work?

If you give up one side of the equation (for instance, opting for security at the expense of your creativity or your ideals, or choosing to spend most of your time playing and enjoying your own creative pursuits without making any tangible contribution to the world), you will feel unbalanced and unhappy.

Your challenge is to learn to somehow have the best of both worlds - to have an inspiration or ideal to aim for and to do something tangible with it. Or, put another way, to bring play and creativity and passion into your work. Your initiative, confidence and faith combined with your practicality would make you quite successful in business especially one of your own.

You tend to lack the ability to analyze yourself or your life in a detached, objective way. You feel and experience but do not necessarily understand or reflect upon your experience, and thus find it hard to communicate or talk about it. Really taking in what someone else has to say can be hard for you - you do not readily adapt to new ideas or people, and as a result may become inflexible or limit your experience of life. A broadening education and exposure to different cultures and types of people is very beneficial to you. Otherwise you are apt to be rigid and even prejudiced against those outside your own circle. (Arthritic conditions, poor flexibility, or poor circulation may reflect this).

You also tend to distrust people who are free with words or to feel inferior to those who are more articulate and intellectual than yourself. You learn much more readily by watching, doing, or apprenticing than by reading or by being told about something.

You have difficulty dealing with your own and others' emotions. Feelings and the emotional reality of a situation are often ignored or discounted by you and you may thus seem insensitive or uncaring to others. Deep emotional rapport, empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the feelings of others is something that you need to develop, and will be in more evidence later in life rather than in your youth.

Though you may appear emotionally self-sufficient or above it all, your denied feelings can result in physical problems, so it is wise and important for you to learn to acknowledge and express all of your emotions.

You may also find that you crave a great deal of liquid, or to live near bodies of water, as a way to gain balance.

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.

Ferociously proud and somewhat vain, you like to be impressive and to be seen as Somebody Special. You are not timid, meek, or self-effacing, and are rarely content being in the background or in the subordinate position. You are a natural leader, and do not take orders from others very well. You must have something of your own, something creative - be it a business, a project, a home or whatever - that you can develop and manage according to your own will and vision. Whatever you do, you do it in a unique, dramatic, individual way. You like to put your own personal stamp on it.

You also have a very strong sense of dignity, self-respect, and personal honor and are deeply offended if someone treats you in a humiliating or dishonorable way. You will rarely confront the offender - you are too proud to do so - but you will lose your affection and respect for them. You dislike pettiness and hate to be snubbed or ignored.

You admire others who are strong individuals like yourself. When you befriend someone, you are tremendously loyal, sincere, and willing to go to extraordinary lengths to make that person happy. You are very giving and generous, but your gifts are never anonymous - you expect recognition and appreciation for them. You also expect the intense loyalty that you offer to your dear ones to be reciprocated. However, you often have trouble working with people who are as strong as yourself, for you do not really cooperate or share the leading role very easily. If you are not in the leading role, you aspire to be and will compete with the person who is.

You have great heart and courage, and people often look to you for strength, encouragement, and affirmation. You always have your best face forward and rarely allow others to see you hurting, disheartened, or vulnerable. You also have a very strong need for love, admiration, appreciation, and praise, although you don't like others to realize just how important it is to you.

Your outlook on life tends to be very personal and rather self-centered. Your own self-expression, self-actualization and self-realization interests you more than anything else. You feel that if you do your best where you are, the rest of the world will take care of itself.

You seem to float between the worlds and prefer to live in a world of illusion rather than reality. Somewhat insecure and uncertain, you may try to avoid responsibility. Your ideas tend to be a bit strange and you should guard against pursuing the wrong objectives.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Behind your proud and magnanimous demeanor (as described in the previous chapter), there is a real go-getter. Others feel that you are rather narcissistic. Strive to always be aware of others' needs and concerns so that this criticism is not true!

You are a person who thrives on challenge, and you often feel that you must battle your way through life, depending upon no one and nothing but your own strength, intelligence, and courage. You believe in being totally honest, true to oneself and one's own vision and convictions, even if that means standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor, and authenticity are your gods, and you have no sympathy for weakness of character in others.

You crave the freedom to do things in your own way, and you work very well independently. Cooperating with others or carrying out another's will is not your style. You like to be the chief -or to go it alone.

You love action and if others are settling down into a nice, comfortable little rut, then you are always ready to stir things up, do something new, make changes, bring in some fresh blood. Routine and sameness are like death to you. You are not afraid of trying something that's never been done before, and even though you may be seen as a fool sometimes, you also discover, invent, and initiate things that others will later emulate. Taking risks and following your own star are the breath of life for you, and you wilt (or get very frustrated and angry) if you cannot do this.

You are spontaneous, impulsive, direct, enthusiastic, and assertive. You believe in the power of positive thinking and positive action, and you think of yourself as a strong person -even invincible. You hate being ill or in any way in a position of dependency. Accepting your own human limitations and emotional needs is often difficult for you.

You are basically aggressive in your attitudes and have less facility in the receptive arts of relating to others, picking up subtle messages and nuances, listening, nurturing, and harmonizing. Often you are so fired up about your own projects or goals that you inadvertently run over or ignore other people's feelings and interests. Being receptive and appreciative of others' contributions, ideas, and feelings would go a long way in improving your relationships. Your impatience to get on with things causes you to be rather insensitive, and to therefore alienate others unnecessarily. You also frequently try to accomplish your ends by using anger or some version of a temper tantrum. You would gain much by learning to slow down, relax, and just let things be sometimes, but your energetic, restless nature rarely allows you to do this.

World travel, foreign cultures, and studies which expand your intellectual horizons and broaden your understanding of the world are very attractive to you.

You have a philosophical turn of mind and are concerned with seeking answers to the big questions of life or getting the overview of any situation. Abstract concepts and/or plans for the future occupy your mind much of the time.

You are loving and well-loved by others, and have a strong need for kindness, friendship, and affection. Your artistic and creative powers are also well developed and you do everything in a harmonious, gracious, pleasing manner. Aesthetics are very important to you. Your personal appearance and attractiveness are also very important to you.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities

Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in tact.

You have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom and for an ever broadening understanding of life. You are the perpetual student and will be involved in higher education, philosophy, or religion. Law, broadcasting, publishing, or the field of communications are also areas that interest you. World travel and studying other cultures are also strong urges of yours.

You have a probing, penetrating mind and in your view, nothing is as simple, innocent, or straightforward as it appears. You may not totally understand the hidden undercurrents you perceive, the secret machinations, the dark underside of a person or situation -- but it intrigues you and sometimes you can't stop thinking about it. Once your interest has been piqued, you can become obsessed with getting to the bottom of the matter. At times you make more of something than is actually the case, like assigning dark, convoluted motives to a person where none exist.

You have a lot of imagination and fantasies and are able to control your inner visions by common sense. You have creative and artistic talents, but are inclined to underestimate your skill. You could be attracted to art, music, singing or dancing.

You tend to idealize your actions or situation, which could lead to misguided endeavors. Uncertain about your goals, you have a tendency to stray from your original purpose and could be disillusioned with the results.

You may have some strange experiences and could be interested in exploring the unconscious or some new kinds of consciousness. Curious about mystical and occult things, you may occupy yourself investigating supernatural questions.

You may have to deal with considerable nervous tension and are inclined to see everything a little cloudy. Expressing what is on your mind could be hard for you, and you could either intentionally or inadvertently deceive others, or vice versa.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance

You are very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others your feelings. Though you may love and care for someone a great deal, you rarely express those feelings openly and freely. Very often your love for someone will be expressed by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving them in some way.

It is also difficult for you to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for you often feel that you don't really deserve it or that "they don't really mean it". You can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than you feel.

A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes you difficult to live with. You need to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with yourself.

You are likely to be a great collector of things - a real pack rat in fact - for your belongings give you a sense of security and continuity with the past, which is important to you. Antiques or things with sentimental value from your past are especially dear to you.

You may also cling rather tightly to both money and possessions, keeping them "in the family" rather than sharing freely with those outside of your immediate circle.

You feel that you must always be DOING something, and become impatient and irritable if you have to slow down or wait for anything. A stormy home life may be the result of your own tendency to fight for what you want, rather than compromise. You may not realize how competitive you are.

Although you get hot under the collar rather easily (as mentioned above), you also have a certain degree of emotional self-control and composure which enables you to rein in some of your more aggressive tendencies. This side of you is described below.

Some rather acute fears of being excluded, rejected, left out in the cold, or separated from loved ones can make you either extremely cautious about getting close to people or hold tightly to whoever gives you any warmth or security. You tend to withhold and clamp down on many of your feelings and your needs for nurturing and security, perhaps feeling they are unacceptable or will never be satisfied. Learning to be open and trust others, to nurture yourself are important for you. Your earliest years, especially your relationship with your mother, will determine whether you will overcome your fears or retreat behind a mask of self-sufficiency and indifference.

In addition to your rather introverted, serious, or self-contained side, you have a wild streak and urge for emotional freedom that breaks through erratically. You crave both stability and excitement, and the conflict between these two impulses can make you rather tense and irritable. However, they can also balance one another. Your more free and unpredictable side will now be described.

You have an unusual sense of humor and enjoy acting a little bit crazy or outlandish sometimes. You crave excitement and emotional freedom and like to break the rules and take risks. Anything new or untried appeals to you and you have little patience with restrictive customs. You are attracted to unusual, creative, or offbeat people and nontraditional lifestyles.
Your emotions are very intense, but often hidden. Like a volcano, one minute you seem quite peaceful and the next you are exploding with great force and unexpected fury. The intensity of your reactions often surprises even you. You have tremendous zeal and tend to be an emotional fanatic about things you care about. Your feelings and desires can be so compelling that you do things against your better judgment and reason. You can also be very manipulative, in a subtle way. Your personal relationships are deeply emotional, passionate, and often stormy and painful as well.

You are very ambitious and your energy is based on your feelings. You may feel that you have to assert yourself regardless of the risks that may be involved. You could have considerable tension with others and are not likely to compromise.

You are hard-working and tend to work till you collapse. Forceful and aggressive, you come on strong and have a tendency to be abusive when frustrated. You must learn to relax in order to avoid suffering total emotional or physical exhaustion.

Your love feelings and desires are easily aroused but it may be difficult to sustain your romantic interest in a relationship after the initial, exciting "chase and conquest". You enjoy a partner who is dynamic and alive, someone with a strong independent streak, and you do not like things to become too peaceful or predictable in the love arena. You want to see sparks fly once in awhile, even if that means instigating a fight.

You are attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can expand your horizons, teach you something, or show you places and worlds you have never experienced before. Sharing a philosophy or ideal with your love partner is important to you.

Also, you feel a love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with your own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of yours.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals

You are a perfectionist and have high standards for your own work. You often feel that if you want something done right you must do it yourself, for others do not do as thorough a job as you do. Doing a task well is very important to you, and you may labor over minute details that others wouldn't bother with. You strive for accuracy, efficiency, and precision, and you become very irritable when things are not done "right".

On the other hand, you can become so much of a perfectionist and so self-critical that you will not even attempt many activities and projects, feeling that your efforts simply won't be good enough. You are usually modest and realistic in assessing what you can accomplish and, if anything, you underestimate yourself. Of course, practice makes perfect, and if you do apply yourself diligently in some area, you gradually gain self-confidence as you master skills and develop expertise.

You conserve your energy and pace yourself so that you do not waste or diffuse your efforts. An unwillingness to take risks or venture from the beaten track can sometimes limit your opportunities. In short, you may not aim high enough and settle for too little in life.

You often buy things on impulse and you can be reckless with your material resources and money. You have certain possessions that you are extremely attached to and possessive of.

You struggle with feelings of discouragement, self-doubt, and the sense that life is an uphill battle all the time. You are also prone to squelch yourself, especially any aggressive or angry feelings. This can lead to chronic resentment and bitterness which actually undermines your goal far more than openly expressing your anger would.

Positively, you are capable of immense patience, endurance, and quiet steady efforts to attain your goals and desires. You seem to have to work very hard, and without much outside help. But if you can avoid a negative attitude about this, and "keep on keeping on", you achieve something substantial. You are much more effective working for someone else also.

Although you are patient and steady when pursuing an objective, when you finally lose patience you lose it completely! In addition to having great tenacity and perseverance, you have a daring and rebellious side as well:

Dynamic, self-willed, and fiercely independent, you have extraordinary drive and energy. When you want something, you want it NOW, and you act quickly, impulsively, and decisively. Your impatience inclines you to be abrupt with people and reckless. You need a great deal of personal freedom to do things in your own way and do not happily conform to schedules, rules, or regimes imposed by others. You are intolerant of authority and can be very rebellious. You are very frank with others, sometimes brutally so. You may have an explosive temper. High-strung and often nervous and tense, you find it difficult to slow down, pace yourself, or relax. You are always on the go. You are restless, daring, and experimental.

When you want something, you go after it with passionate zeal and are sometimes so driven by your desire that you lose all objectivity. You get so deeply involved in whatever you are pursuing that you become one-sided, even fanatical. Strong-willed and stubborn, you insist on having your way no matter the cost. You are fascinated with power. You often try to overpower anything or anyone you perceive as an obstacle, if not physically then by the force of your will. You can be ruthless and impersonal when it comes to achieving your ambitions and goals in life. You have enormous energy and are capable of extraordinary effort and great achievement. You can also become a compulsive workaholic.

Positions of honor, affluence, influence, and stature in your community can be yours. You feel you have a destiny which involves leadership or distinguishing yourself in some line of endeavor. You possess an innate sense of greatness or importance, and a strong drive to achieve recognition for your talent. Avoid excessive egotism and arrogant pride, for these could limit your opportunities.

You gain your objectives and ambitions in life through your personal charm, attractiveness, ability to please others visually and/or emotionally. A career in the arts or entertainment world is possible for you. Anything involving sales or promotion, particularly of beautiful or luxurious items, is an area you can succeed in. Vanity or indiscretions in relationships could lead to your downfall.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy

Material comfort, security, and well-being are quite important to you, and you are not one to have your head in the clouds when financial matters and future security are at stake. Your strengths are practicality, a love of the earth, and the ability to take great delight in the sensual pleasures of the natural world. Also, when you feel secure financially, you are likely to be very generous and hospitable.

Your career or contribution to the world at large is likely to touch many people's lives in a very positive, helpful way. You aim high and have an innate confidence and trust both in your own abilities and in life in general, which enables you to go far. You want to do something BIG with your life, and you attract the support you need to do so, for your aims are not solely for your own personal benefit. You want to give something back to the world, or to improve others' lives as well as your own.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You

You often have a sense of longing or homesickness for something you cannot name or specify, and you may have both a great attraction toward, and fear of, mysticism and parapsychology.

Overcoming feelings of fear, guilt, anxiety, loneliness, or oversensitivity is an important task for you.

Fear of the unknown, of change, and/or of death may plague you. You strongly resist changes and transitions rather than greeting them with curiosity or a spirit of adventure, which makes them much harder for you.

On another level entirely, you are very careful about joining forces, and especially your material resources, with others. You want to keep your own and other people's property and assets very distinct.

You seesaw between playing it safe, and doing something unique and original, between self-control and letting loose, between being a responsible adult and a rebellious adolescent, between what you have to or should do and what your spontaneous impulses tell you. All of this creates enormous inner tension as well as friction with people in your environment. You may, for instance, bitterly resent the government or authority figures who "crush your individuality", and yet ignore your obligations and responsibilities, thus ensuring that they will come down on you. Learning to give each side its due is an ongoing challenge for you.

You feel that you must work very hard and struggle against tremendous odds which block your chances of fulfilling your life. You may adopt a very hard, cynical, or nihilistic attitude which will only pull you further down. Severe problems with your father or those in authority are indicated. You may fail simply to spite "them", without realizing you hurt yourself primarily. If you can overcome your feelings of loneliness, bitterness, or isolation, and direct your energies into constructive arenas, you can be immensely effective for your tenacity and potential for achievement is great.

You are likely to have very intense experiences in your emotional life and should guard against feelings of depression and inhibition. You could be plagued by inner turmoil and obsessive ideas or notions.

You are not afraid of hard work and leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of you objectives. You have a strong desire to overcome any difficulties or obstacles in your way and will do this at all cost, even if it means having to use force.

A bit stubborn and self-willed, you persist no matter what obstacles you have to overcome. You have great endurance and strength and force yourself to work very hard. You could be somewhat one-sided in the pursuit of your objectives.

Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.

You need to take what you have learned (either through formal education or your own questing and life experience) and share it with others, communicate it, express it in a way others can benefit from. Knowledge and understanding which does not enhance the quality of life for yourself and others in your world is of little real value. Putting your understanding, philosophy, and convictions into practice in your daily interactions with people, and in the multiple small choices you make everyday will enable you to really test your belief system and discover more about life.

When under stress you are apt to seek refuge in imagining that the grass is greener elsewhere, rather than working with what is at hand. Cultivate your ability to live in the present!

The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in any involvements you have with teams, clubs, organizations, networks, and the like. The qualities described above need to be channeled into some sort of group effort or experience, or have some impact on society at large.

You have a very obliging manner and are always in search for new contacts. You are able to identify with people quite easily and probably will make many friends who can be of help to you.

You have a very sympathetic and compassionate attitude toward others and show your interest in their well-being. Your interaction with others is more on a personal basis and they are drawn to you because of your sincerity and kindness.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive

You have a reckless, impulsive, or very unconventional attitude toward money, material things, and ownership. Above all, you do not want to be possessed by your possessions. The obligations of owning things are likely to feel oppressive to you.

Also, you may make your money in a field that is unconventional, highly unstable, or very inventive and innovative. Your fortunes are likely to fluctuate widely throughout your life.

Your childhood and early home life were colored by a great deal of confusion or by people with unusually active imaginations, aspirations, or fantasies. It is difficult for you to see your childhood and your relationship with your parents in a clear, realistic light. You may search for the ideal, loving home you wish you had, or believe you had, when you were a child. Finding inner peace and a sense of emotional security within yourself is important to you.

You are likely to have a fixation on money, wealth, and material resources. You may totally renounce material desires and ownership, or become obsessed with having, owning, and accumulating. Your attitudes towards owning, keeping, and sharing will undergo major changes in your lifetime, and your fortunes are likely to run very hot or very cold.

You tend to get irritated quickly and are easily angered. Subject to outbreaks of irrational behavior, you may snap at someone for almost no reason. Your general rashness could lead to accidents if you are not careful.

You are emotionally compulsive and uncompromising, and must learn to handle your intolerance and fanaticism. Constantly driven, you are always ready for a fight with somebody. A certain inner conflict makes you irritable and ready to explode at the slightest provocation.

You probably will have to work hard on learning to control your temper. Although you have great endurance, your objectives could become fanatical and obsessive. You must try to express your energy positively, otherwise you may become cruel, brutal and sadistic.

You are likely to indulge in day dreams, ideals and illusions and aren't able to adapt yourself very readily. You are easily annoyed with others and also quickly disappointed by them.

You are a little shy and tend to have feelings of inferiority in love. You are inclined to have beautiful illusions about love and end up being disappointed when your dreams are not fulfilled. Very vulnerable, you could easily be misled or deceived.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.

The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

You are part of a 15 year group of people that are driven by the need to find an ethical standard and a clear sense of what is right and what is wrong. There is a subconscious drive to straighten out all the world's evils and create a world of perfect order. There is a feeling of repulsion to anything ugly, dirty, or grotesque. Oddly enough, there is also often a fascination with these very things that are so distasteful, and often a feeling of hopelessness and despair about the world's condition.

These inner, emotional and conflicting qualities are reflected in the attitudes and life styles of your generation. Most people of your age group are conservative and ethical, and a small minority goes to the opposite extreme and relishes being strange or unusual in appearance, and sloppy or even grotesque in manners and appearance. There seems to be no middle ground for your generation. Usually, the rebellious type of behavior comes out during adolescence, and tends to subside thereafter, and your age group tends to be very conservative in later life.

Your age group is not very good at compromising and tends to have strong ideas about what is right and what is wrong. There is a strong feeling that you must extinguish evil in the world. Certainly, fostering good works is very commendable, but a categorical and simple-minded response to complex issues is not helpful. Your age group will undergo great transformations in attitudes regarding Good and Evil and will swing to great extremes. Your generation will also make great contributions in the areas of medicine and nutrition, ecology, and education.

You were also born during a period that lasted approximately 5 years and is characterized by extreme restlessness and an impatient, dynamic attitude towards life. You are part of a group of people who can be explosive and even violent in their reactions to situations. You do not tolerate being restricted, and your age group rebels with force and anger against oppressive situations.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

You are part of a 14 year group of people that have very intense psychic sensitivity and imagination. Your age group is very attracted to the strange, weird, and unusual. The sense of the macabre and bizarre is strong, and this is reflected in much of the music, art, and fashions of your age group. Novels and movies with mystery and chilling suspense are also popular with your age group. Emotional depression, drug use, and suicide are likely to be relatively high in your age group. There is also a deep mystical sense, and Eastern religions and meditation are very attractive to your age group.

What is New and Different in Your Age Group

You are part of a 7 year group of people who employ their skills and creativity to bring about a great deal of practical reform in education, medical care, and other social services. Your innovations are not radical or unusual, but they are usually effective.

Your generation also has a curious mixture of both conservative, ethical people, and rebellious, disruptive people. There seems to be little middle ground for your age group, and you swing to one extreme or the other. The conservative people strive to reinstate strict moral standards, want to swiftly punish criminal behavior, and strive to highlight the importance of old-fashioned values in our lives, laws, and overall life style. On the other hand, the rebellious people of your generation are angry at the established way of doing things and act in a defiant, crude, and coarse manner.
